I'm supposed to be working tonight. Really, I'd rather be sleeping. *sigh*

Requiem for the Phantom ep 1
Very strange show. O_o At first I expected something with Phantom of the Opera (yes, I did NOT Google for information about the show). So far it's looking very similar to Noir, only updated for the 21st century... *chuckle* We'll see how episode two goes.
Legend of Galactic Heroes eps 1-2
Yes, I know this is an old show. ^_^ It's definitely showing its age. Lots of expository dialogue/sequences, lots of telling. The death of people don't seem to matter to me at all (considering how many new characters they shoved at me in the first episode, I'm not surprised--I haven't learned to tell them from each other except by those hovering labels whenever someone shows up). Lesson learned--introduce new characters like Star Wars, not like LoGH.
Also--dude. No drama, no acting, no emotion; okay, not that there's no emotion, but it's so muted/dulled down after the series one watches today... do I want to continue with 110 episodes of this, I wonder? Maybe I can use this as a learning exercise on how NOT to write epic science fiction (or epic anything).
