I was seriously worried that this would take a wrong turn, but you know what? After episode 8, I just have to say: I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW. ♥♥♥ They even warrant red hearts! I'm going to make a prediction: by the end of the series, I think we shall see Night, Riiko, _AND_ Soushi become a happy trio. (Just like the ED says.) I don't think I would be satisfied with any other ending. I can't wait for episode 9!

ETA2: Ironing
The hated ironing is done! *happy and relieved* We'll see how long I can go before I'm forced to do another round.

Wedding
diadem_chi's wedding was wonderful. Detailed report on RL blog (the public one). I have a standing invitation to San Francisco to stay with darkest_light--it looks like my next USA trip (2010 or so) will be all along the West Coast!

Blind Go
By now everyone knows I wrote that SF story where assassin!Ogata meets AI!Sai, right? chaineddove was the only person to guess me correctly; doumeki got spoilt accidentally by Maaya, whoops. XD I have Maaya's fic prompt already, but I have to get around to writing it. ontogenesis, macey_muse, thephoenixboy, you three get to request something as my beta team, too. ♥ (Yes, ontogenesis, I know what you want. ^_^) (I'm wondering who else got me right!)

Guessing for Blind Go
This round I guessed 15 people correctly, but as luck would have it, I got confirmations on 8 of them before the clarifications, and if I had been disqualified from all of them I would have been at a huge disadvantage. It's okay--I was too busy to do it right this round anyway due to all this travelling. Next time! That first prize will be mine, dang it. ^_^

I really should have posted my guesses. Even after disqualifying myself from 8 of them, the 7 remaining would have put me in 3rd place with thephoenixboy! (And considering how many I was beta-reader for, I would have edged Phoenix out in percentages! ^_~ I had [sestic] down as a tentative for issen4 but hadn't gotten around to confirming it, and [ryan] was so clever I was eyeing flonnebonne but hadn't gotten around to checking punctuation either ...)

Wi-Fi
Denver has Wi-Fi, I'm connected, and yet I can't get online. This perplexes me. In fact, I can't connect anywhere in Seattle either, though there are unsecured hotspots aplenty, and even bluesgal's home network refuses to work. Perhaps it's just the lack of juice? I'll keep trying.

Other Random Things
I have the rest of Firefly on my USB drive, and I will be trying to get my hands on Serenity. I also have some sort of cold or allergy, and my nose is seriously watering and stuffed up. I hope I didn't catch what therhoda had! I bought a lot of allergy medicine, so hopefully that will work. *takes one more*

Work
... I really don't look forward to going back to the daily grind. I'm sure I'll change my mind once I teach a few good classes again, but right now I'm in a nice groove and I don't look forward to changing it.
